"I had three chairs in my house; one for solitude, two for friendship, three for society."
-Henry David Thoreau
Loneliness is a growing public health “epidemic” that threatens peoples physical and mental health. It affects all ages and social and economic backgrounds. We want to help reduce this feeling of solitude.
We know that relationships and communications are the most valuable and value-creating resource of any society. They are the lifelines that help us grow and thrive but in our connected world are more difficult to find, and the ones we already have are often forgotten.
We are a group of people committed to working on a problem that is affecting society and needs a solution.
We feel everyone deserve to be a little bit happier.
